Satin Leopard Midi Skirt

Leopard can sometimes be a risky move and more of a tricky print to pull off.  If you are wearing it to the work place, you really want to be sure that you are still classy and put together rather than loud and over the top.  Less is always more in my opinion but occasionally you can go a little more bold and still look great!  I paired this satin leopard midi skirt with a simple black blouse, black suede block heel and gold accents to bring it all together!

The loafer you need for the office

One of my favorite color combinations to wear is black and white.  Always polished and chic, this color scheme is sure to make you look, and feel, classy and confident!

The loafer you need for the office!

A great staple to your work wear wardrobe is a black leather loafer.  I love the white piping detail on these, adding a chic look to a classic shoe.  I have worn these a couple of times now and they are very comfortable and really elevate a simple outfit.   I was able to snag these loafers on major sale for a fantastic price!  I love a good sale and especially for a versatile staple that can be worn year round.

White Chocolate Banana Pudding

For my birthday this year I was really wanting something other than the usual cake and ice cream.  I am normally a Carrot Cake or German Chocolate kind of girl but one of my favorite desserts is a decadent Banana Pudding.  Rich and smooth, this dessert is one that I can rarely ever pass up.  Aside from the cold banana pudding and softened vanilla wafers, I was also craving a rich and buttery graham cracker crust.  While traditional banana pudding doesn't have a crust, I set out to come up with something that would satisfy all of my cravings.
I came across many different variations for both Banana Pudding and Banana Cream Pie while researching recipes.  Anything white chocolate always jumps out at me so I knew that had to be incorporated.  Seeing delicious recipes with the most mouthwatering pictures made me realize that I wanted a little bit of everything in this dish!  I started with a traditional graham cracker crust, using a simple and very easy recipe that I found.  Crushed graham crackers, sugar and butter holding it all together is the base of my White Chocolate Banana pudding.  Lining sliced bananas right on top of the crust and layering pudding and Nilla Wafers made for a simple yet delicious dessert!

How to Make White Chocolate Banana Pudding

Ingredients:

For the Graham Cracker Crust

2 cups Graham Cracker crumbs
1/8 cup Brown Sugar
1/8 cup White sugar
6 Tbsp Butter

For the Banana Pudding

2 Boxes of White Chocolate Pudding
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tub of Cool Whip
Nilla Wafers
6 Ripe Bananas, sliced

Directions:

Easy Graham Cracker Crust

This is a very quick and easy Graham Cracker crust recipe.  For this White Chocolate Banana Pudding recipe, I used this 9' x 13' dish.  It makes a bit more than the normal pie dish amount making it perfect for entertaining!

Step 1

Crush the graham crackers until you have 2 cups.  This food processor works amazing and is so much easier!

Step 2

Mix in both white and brown sugar, making sure it is fully combined.  Add melted butter and stir until you reach a sand like consistency.

Step 3

Press mixture into baking dish until you have a flat surface.  Chill in the refrigerator until while you are making the pudding.

White Chocolate Banana Pudding

Step 1

Mix white chocolate pudding as instructed on the back of the box.  Add in Condensed Milk and Cool Whip, stirring until combined throughout.

Step 2

Line your baking dish with a layer of sliced bananas, placing them right on top of the graham cracker crust.  (Shown in picture above.)  With a traditional Banana Pudding recipe, you would start with a layer of Nilla Wafers but because I added the graham cracker crust, this way seemed like the right thing to do.

Step 3

Add a layer of pudding, about half, covering the bananas completely.  Next add a layer of Nilla Wafers followed by the remainder of the White Chocolate Pudding.  Garnish the top with crushed Nilla Wafers.

I like mine best served the next day.  It gives the favor a chance to really set in and combine.  I usually make my pudding recipes the night before and serve them chilled the following day.  I have linked everything I used on Amazon for easy shopping.  I would love to hear how yours turned out!

The best budget friendly neutrals

One thing that I am very passionate about when it comes to blogging and sharing work friendly outfits is affordable office wear.  I personally know how hard it is when you are just starting out or not quite making extra spending money.  Having to buy an entire new wardrobe for your office job can seem a little daunting and overwhelming.  I want to incorporate different price points for you all but I especially want to share with you very affordable outfits that can still make you feel like a million bucks!
What I love most about this outfit is that everything is neutral and can be worn year round.  The prettiest shade of blush adds a touch of feminine to a neutral pair of pants.  These slacks can just as easily be paired with a chunky sweater in the winter or you could throw a cardigan over this look in the fall.  Pair them with a neutral and classic white tee and you have a staple outfit for your wardrobe!

Swap the heels with a comfortable shoe!

This outfit is extremely versatile and can be worn with flats as well!  Although heels always look amazing, I know that not everyone prefers to wear them to work and that is completely understandable.  Flats can be so much more practical and especially a comfortable loafer.  My Camel Suede Loafers pair perfectly with this outfit, creating more of a casual chic look!
