Our annual girls trip to Seaside

Last week we went on our 5th annual girls trip to Seaside, Florida.   My girlfriends and I met 10 years ago (10!) where we all worked together.  The 5 of us have maintained such a close friendship over the last 10 years and have all had our babies around the same time as each other.  As our families grow, we don't see each other as often as we
did 10 years ago so we always look forward to this trip for some good girl time.  This year we had 7 babies and one on the way!  Each year gets more chaotic than the last but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Seaside is the most charming beach town I have every been to.  It's on the Florida panhandle in between Destin and Panama City.  If you have never been, it is a MUST visit!  The houses are straight out of a post card, the crystal blue ocean is something you would find in the Caribbean, and Seaside Square is nothing short of perfection.  We were lucky enough to have clear skies pretty much every day and got to see the most amazing sunsets each night.  We went on walks, ate too much good food, shopped, and made so many great memories this trip.
I don't know what it was this year but the ocean was the most beautiful I have ever seen it.  The water was every shade of turquoise and crystal clear.    The kids played really well on the beach this year.  I think we have all had our moments of chasing babies and leaving early with screaming kids that hate the sand so it's nice that we are finally getting to a point where we can relax a little while everyone plays!
This trip started when we only had 2 babies out of the group.  Loyal and Lexi were just 11 months old when we came.  Each year, we have taken a picture of the 2 of them and my gosh, do they get cuter every single year.
On Saturday we walked over to Watercolor, the town next door.  We took the scenic route, walking down all of the beautiful tree lined streets with picturesque homes and white picket fences.  Watercolor was having an art festival that weekend and it gave us something fun to do, walking around looking at the different booths.
I love you girls so much.  I will forever be grateful for all of you.
