Easter Tablescape

This year we are hosting Easter dinner at our house for my parents and my in-laws.  I have never done a big tablescape for my mom or my in-laws so I knew that I wanted to make this one really special.  When I started brainstorming what I wanted for my Easter table, I knew that I wanted to bring in a lot of color.  I had Easter pastels
in mind, lots of greenery, and a touch of rustic and charm.  The pastels and soft color scheme of this tablescape made for such a different mood than my previous ones that I did last fall.  I think this might be my favorite tablescape yet!
My favorite place to shop when I am designing a tablescape is World Market.  They always have a wide variety of festive tableware and this year they had 8 different shades of pastel napkins that would have all worked for this color scheme.  They always have the best selection of napkins!  I also got really lucky with the glasses because I grabbed the last 6 out of the clearance section, which is why they are not all the same color.  (I love how it worked out!)
I found these adorable gingham salad plates at Michaels.   I would never think to look at Michaels for dishes but I always find great items in their holiday sections!  I love that I got different colors to make it more festive and fun.
For this tablescape, I decided not to do any type of tall candles or large floral arrangements so that we could focus on engaging with one another without anything distracting in the way.  I filled the greenery with lots of fake flowers, Easter accents, and small candles instead.  I found the cutest little mason jars and put candles in them to spread throughout the centerpiece.  I love the charm it added to the tablescape!
Have a great weekend and a Happy Easter!
