Christmas Tablescape

Last weekend we hosted Christmas with my parents at our house.  We are in New Orleans with Loyal's family for Christmas this year so I wanted to make this Christmas dinner extra special since we wouldn't be here.  You know how much I enjoy decorating the table for holidays and get togethers and this one was probably the funnest one I've done yet.  There is just something so magical about Christmas time.
After my Thanksgiving spread, I wanted to change things up a bit to give more of a Christmas feel.  I tried to go with neutrals but ended up adding in a little red because that's just what I do!  The white roses and touches of gold bring an elegant feel to the table and the red brings the perfect amount of festive.
With going out of town this year, the time I had to put into the table display was a little more limited than usual.  I challenged myself to use as much as I could with what I had around the house.   Most of the main elements like the greenery, dishes, and candle holders, I already had.  I picked up the candles and red napkins on a Target trip.  To incorporate some color in the greenery, I used a few ornaments that I didn't put on the tree this year and then threw in the red picks that I found in our box of Christmas decorations.
The floral centerpiece was so simple to create.  I added fresh cranberries to the water that I picked up from the grocery store and gold from the picks that I found in our Christmas storage.
I love how this table spread came out.  It's so simple and elegant yet fun and festive.  Since we didn't put the leaf in the table this time, I skipped the table runner and really like how the greenery looks against the wood.

Hope you all are enjoying Christmas Eve!
Happy Holidays!
