Bridal Shower Bliss

Jessica's Bridal Shower:
Sunday, February 26, 2012

This was my very first time hosting a bridal shower, aside from my own, and I have to say, it was a huge success! Jessica loved all of the surprises I had for her and I have been dying to share them!
Jess loves mason jars so I incorporated them in the decor.  I added a little lace and some bows, and there you have it!  The mason jar vase was my favorite.

Hydrangea inspired cupcakes:

I found mini mason jars and immediately thought they would be perfect for favors.  The jars came with label stickers so after I labeled them I applied a little pink chalk with a cotton ball to soften the look.  I love tags so I had to incorporate them into the favor.  I hand wrote all of the tags to add my personal touch.

Advice game:
Jessica and I weren't too big on the idea of bridal games but she was actually the one to suggest this one.  It turned out better than we could have ever expected!  Everyone had so much fun writing their advice for the bride.  After the shower was over, she read each heart out loud to the few of us that were still there, super cute!

The bride with the hosts:

This was my first time hosting a bridal shower.  I must say, I am so pleased with the outcome and I truely enjoyed every second of it...well, every second except for the stress of perfection :)

  1. Sooooo, I wanna get married, or have a baby....or something that would involve me hiring you to take over the entire production!! Nicole Hoover, you are simply amazing!!! <3

  2. Bridal Shower! These are really inspiring photos for me. Well dear I need some wedding shower theme ideas for my cousin. Can you share that? She is getting married at destination Los Angeles wedding venues so it will be great if you could recommend suitable theme.
